Terms and Conditions for U4Success Tutors
By applying as a tutor with U4Success, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Service Agreement
As an independent tutor, you agree to deliver high-quality tutoring services as per the objectives set by U4Success. You retain full discretion over the method, materials, and tools you use to conduct your sessions. - Compensation and Categories
Tutors are compensated based on their qualifications and experience, as follows:
- Rate I: Incomplete education and limited IB experience.
- Rate II: Completed Master’s degree and some IB experience.
- Rate III: Multiple years of experience as an IB tutor or teacher.
- Rate III+: IB teachers with examiner status.
For in-person sessions requiring travel to a student’s location, an additional €5 per hour is added to the agreed rate to cover travel expenses.
- Session Conduct
Tutors are responsible for preparing their own materials and ensuring compliance with all copyright and legal requirements. Tutors will independently manage the scheduling of breaks and session timing. - Invoicing and Payment
Payments will be made upon receipt of invoices submitted no later than the 7th of the subsequent month. U4Success will transfer the total amount to the tutor’s designated account, excluding any commission fees, which are the tutor’s responsibility. - Legal and Insurance Responsibility
As a freelance contractor, you are responsible for your own insurance and tax obligations. This arrangement is not subject to social security registration. - Data Protection
Tutors must comply with data protection laws and maintain the confidentiality of all information provided by U4Success and students. - Session Cancellation
Tutors are only compensated for sessions that take place. In cases of timely cancellations by students (e.g., due to illness), no claims for compensation can be made. - Final Agreement
By checking the consent box, you agree to the terms outlined above and any additional terms outlined in U4Success’s policies.
